Who is responsible

Information stored

We store your name, email address, password hash, account and verification status, bookmarks and descriptions, folders and tabs, settings, optional thumbnail, trial and subscription dates, payment-service identifiers, agreement acceptance records, and reminder delivery status. Temporary security counters use a hashed combination of request information including an IP address. The hosting and email providers may maintain operational logs containing IP addresses and request metadata. URLs can themselves contain personal information: avoid saving passwords, login tokens, or sensitive customer records.

How information is used

We use this information to operate your private library, authenticate access, deliver verification and password-reset messages, send trial notices, manage subscriptions, prevent abuse, troubleshoot, and comply with legal obligations. Operational notices are separate from marketing. Marketing consent, if offered later, will be optional.

Payments and service providers

Stripe handles checkout and recurring payments. We store payment customer and subscription identifiers and access status, not card numbers. Hosting, backups, and email delivery require providers to process information on our behalf. The final provider names, hosting location, transfer disclosures, and relevant agreements must be completed before launch. We may disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights and safety.

External links, favicons, search, and embedded pages

Opening external sites or web searches sends information to those sites under their policies. Embedded pages may make their own requests or set cookies subject to your browser controls. The library may request favicon images from a third-party favicon service, revealing the saved website hostname and browser request information to that provider. The Auto compatibility checker requests the chosen URL from our server; a URL containing private query values would therefore be sent to its destination. This application does not use an OpenAI runtime API to process customer bookmarks.

Cookies and security

The application uses a session cookie for sign-in and request protection. Browser storage may hold interface preferences. Passwords are stored as hashes, and server checks restrict customer-library access by account. Libraries are not end-to-end encrypted; authorized operators and service providers may access data when needed to operate, support, secure, or comply with law. No system can guarantee perfect security.

Retention, exports, and deletion

You can export your saved library through Account, including after trial expiration. Trial expiration alone does not delete your links. Contact support to request account deletion. The final retention schedule, deletion response process, backup deletion timing, and legally required billing-record retention must be specified before public launch. Deleting a library does not automatically cancel a Stripe subscription; support must confirm both actions where applicable.

Your choices and rights

You can edit library content and thumbnails, control opening mode, export links, manage billing, and contact support about account data. Additional rights may apply based on your location and applicable law; the final policy must identify relevant request procedures. Accounts are intended for adults 18 and older, and we do not knowingly seek children's information.

Changes

Material privacy changes will be communicated appropriately. The effective date and business details must be finalized before launch.
